Delhi weddings are not just events, they’re full-blown Bollywood blockbusters. Meet Priya Sharma, a 26-year-old marketing executive from South Delhi, who was knee-deep in her shaadi shopping spree. From glimmering lehengas in Lajpat Nagar to designer knock-offs in Sarojini Nagar, she was shopping smart.

Priya had done her homework, especially when it came to ICICI Bank debit card charges. She wasn’t just hunting for the perfect sangeet outfit; she was also making sure every purchase made with her ICICI debit card was well within her budget. Her mind was filled with the question, "What are the ICICI debit card annual charges?” For her, understanding ICICI Bank debit card charges per day, transaction fees, annual/renewal costs, and even ICICI Bank Rupay debit card charges is part of her bridal budget choreography.

ICICI Bank debit card charges include annual fees, replacement fees, ATM withdrawal costs, and international transaction charges, varying by card type. She went through ICICI Bank’s published schedule and found that charges include annual fees, replacement fees, international mark-ups, and more. This small step saved her from unnecessary costs later.

ICICI Bank Debit Card Annual Charges

Priya’s fiancé teased her, “Tu toh mehendi aur budget ki expert ho gayi!” And she responded, “Chalo phir, let’s see the annual fee table before I tap for the sangeet lehenga!” Below is a snapshot of ICICI debit card types and charges, focusing on joining/renewal and replacement fees.

Card Variant	Joining Fee (First Year)	Annual/Renewal Fee	Replacement Fee
Expressions (Basic variant)	₹499 + GST (as per FAQs)	₹599 + GST (as of 21-Aug-2023)

Note: The figures are subject to change, so always check the official schedule.

ICICI Bank Debit Card Withdrawal Charges

After her saree spree, Priya sometimes needs cash for boutique fittings or henna bookings. That’s when she checks what the withdrawal rules are, under the ICICI Bank debit card charges. Here’s what she found:

At ICICI Bank ATMs: In many cases, free up to the permitted limit (or subject to the bank’s transaction count policy).
At non-ICICI ATMs (domestic): In NRI schedule: ₹23 per financial transaction (post a certain number of free ones) + GST.
At International ATMs: ₹125 per transaction + 3.5% currency conversion mark-up.

So when Priya is negotiating for her honeymoon suite abroad, she knows swiping abroad will incur a bigger fee. So, she had to plan accordingly.

ICICI Bank Debit Card Per-Transaction Charges

Whether Priya is buying a pair of bangles or booking her wedding caterer, she checks her expenditure on a transaction charge, as well.

Online/retail transactions: Generally, no extra fee apart from the normal bill amount. As per sources, apart from the annual fee, the bank does not charge the user for using the ICICI Bank debit card for retail or online transactions.
Foreign currency purchases: Markup of 3.5% applies.
On-card EMI or special services: Additional processing fees may apply.

Priya makes a personal note, “Buying 50 pairs of juttis is fun, but paying extra for each swipe is not, so I need to choose normal purchases within India whenever possible.”

ICICI Bank Debit Card Declined Charges

Just like a director yells “Cut!” mid-scene, Priya’s swipe can get declined. And guess what? There’s a fee for that, too.
