Ravi inherited land from his father in a small Telangana village, but transferring ownership was always a challenge. One day, he learnt about the Dharani site, which claimed to make it easier to keep land records up to date.
He was able to readily download an Encumbrance Certificate (EC) and transmit it to a possible buyer, who quickly consented to the transaction.
Thanks to the portal, the registration office process ran smoothly and efficiently on the day of the sale. However, as Ravi left, he overheard two landowners complaining about the portal's outage.
While Ravi had a great experience, he recognised that the system still had flaws that needed to be worked out.

Encumbrance Certificates (EC): Users can search for and access EC information, which is necessary for validating property titles.
