Riya Sharma, an Axis Bank customer, needed to check her recent account activity while commuting. Instead of logging into her online account, she opted for the missed call banking facility. She dialled 1800-419-6969 from her registered mobile number. Within moments, she received an SMS from Axis Bank displaying her last five transactions.
The mini statement included her transaction details, such as a ₹350 UPI payment to Zomato on 3rd April, a salary credit of ₹25,000 on 2nd April, etc. This real-time summary gave Riya a quick view of her account without the need for logging into internet banking or visiting a branch.
