India is moving fast into the digital world, especially regarding how money is dealt with.
In a statement, according to ‘The Economic Times’, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Michael Debabrata Patra, says that the digital economy already accounts for 10% of the GDP of India and has the potential to rise by 20% in the year 2026.
Patra stated that Indian banks are embracing technology, and indeed, most of them offer mobile and internet banking. Around 75% allow online account opening, digital KYC, and doorstep banking services, thus making banking more accessible.
Axis Bank is one of the most prominent customer-friendly banks. The feature of net banking allows customers to bank whenever they want to—for checking balances or even to transfer funds. Support 24/7 is provided by Axis Bank, and the ease, speed, and convenience of banking make it much easier.
