ESAF originated as an NGO called Evangelical Social Action Forum in 1992. It became a small finance bank in 2017 and started operating in 2018. Located in Thrissur, Kerala, ESAF Small Finance Bank assists Indians with no convenient access to a bank account. The daily limits and charges for ESAF Small Finance Bank's net banking:
Step 1: Visit the official page of ESAF Bank Net Banking.
Step 2: Locate ‘Personal Net Banking’ on the left side of the page and click on it.
Step 3: Locate ‘Login’ on the top of the page in the blue bar, click on it, and you will see 2 options: ‘Personal’ & ‘Corporate.’
Step 4: Click on ‘Personal’ and click on the ‘Login’ button.
Step 5: Redirected to the page, locate ‘New User Enrollment’ and click on it.
Step 6: On the next page, agree to the terms and conditions and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step 7: On the next page, enter your details and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step 8: Once you proceed, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
Step 9: Enter the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 10: On the next page, create your User ID and password (please follow the password policy while generating the password).
Step 11: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 1: Visit the official page of ESAF Bank Net Banking.
Step 2: Locate ‘Login’(in the blue bar) on the top of the page, after clicking on it, click on ‘Personal’ for Personal Net Banking or click on ‘Corporate’ for Corporate Net Banking as per your preference.
Step 3: Click on ‘Login’ (in the red bar).
Step 4: In the next page, enter your User ID and captcha, and click on ‘Continue to Login’.
Disclaimer: If you don’t remember your USER ID, then call the customer care of ESAF SFB. Or, you can find the message when you register your account in the ESAF Bank. That message will contain your USER ID and password for login.
Option 1: To check your account balance log into ESAF Net banking by using your Username and password; sign up for a new user if necessary. Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Account Balance’ section, check your balance and don’t forget to log out safely.
Option 2: You can also check your ESAF account balance by giving a missed call to 8592866639 or sending an SMS with the text "BAL" to 8086077575 or 9990016467.

Q2. If I do not have any of the documents listed above to show my ‘Proof of Identity,’ can I still open a bank account?
Yes, you can open a 'Small Account.' For this, you have to provide your recent photograph and get your signature or thumb impression before a bank official. In this, you can avail yourself of some basic banking services without full documentation.
Q3. If my name has been changed and I do not have any OVD in the new name, how can I open an account?
In case of opening an account after a name change due to marriage or for any other reason, a copy of the marriage certificate issued by the state government or a gazette notification showing such name change is necessary. Along with this, a copy of the 'Officially Valid Document' previously used by the applicant is also necessary.
Q4. Can I purchase a demand draft/payment order/travelers check against cash?
Demand drafts, payment orders, and traveller's cheques up to the value of Rs. 50,000 can be bought in cash. Over Rs. 50,000, they are available only through account debit or cheque.
Q3. Do banks inform customers about risk categorization?
No.
