How to Change UPI PIN?

blog

Let’s say Mr. Rajesh, a 65-year-old ex-employee of a private bank, is good at making a family budget. At the beginning of every month, he prints his bank passbook to see all of his last month’s bank transactions. When all the banks launch the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) payment method to ease transactions, Rajesh clings to the old-school idea of ideas in paying cash-in-hand.

This is because Mr. Rajesh finds that he often forgets his UPI PIN, and also locks the UPI app for wrongly entering the PIN. Many times, he seeks the help of others. But this time he accessed his mobile app, and found that there are more than one method to change his UPI PIN.

Let’s see how he changes the UPI PIN by himself:

  • Enters the last 6 digits of his ATM debit card: 66 7777
  • Debit Card’s Expiring Date: 06/25

New UPI PIN: He sets his new PIN to 1111. Mr. Rajesh has successfully set his UPI PIN.

This blog enlightens you on how to change your UPI PIN.

UPI Payment – A Seamless Transaction

After starting to use the UPI application, Mr. Rajesh eased all of his transactions. One day, he went to purchase vegetables in the market. He gave ₹ 500 for the cost of vegetables, cost of ₹ 66. The vendor did not have enough money to give the balance amount. But Mr. Rajesh simplified the business in the following ways:

  • Scanned the QR code.
  • Paid ₹ 66 from his UPI Application.

The business went smoothly. In another incident, Mr. Rajesh planned to buy a top-notch refrigerator, which cost around ₹ 90,000.

He did not have money, but paid the amount through his UPI app.

  • The maximum limit for UPI payment is only up to ₹ 1,00,000.

Once again, the UPI method of payment had eased the cash transaction of Mr. Rajesh.

The UPI payment is a popular method of cash payment in digital banking transactions. The instant way of cash transfer is safe and secure. This method is helpful when either the buyer or seller is unable to tender the exact balance amount.
