HDFC Bank has announced changes to the reward point redemption policy for its Infinia Metal Credit Card, one of its most exclusive offerings, effective February 1, 2026. What Is Changing on February 1, 2026

From the start of February, holders of the HDFC Infinia Metal Credit Card will face new constraints on how they redeem reward points.

  • Reward point redemptions will be capped at a maximum of five per month, regardless of how many points a cardholder has.
  • The earning structure stays the same — cardholders will continue to earn points at the existing rate (e.g. five points for every ₹150 spent, and higher on select Smartbuy transactions).
