Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav is back in the limelight after being granted bail in a ₹9 crore cheque bounce/loan case. The actor, who had surrendered to the Delhi Tihar Jail earlier this month, was released on interim bail on February 17, 2026 and has since resumed his professional commitments.

Recently, Rajpal was seen shooting for the television show Wheel of Fortune, hosted by Akshay Kumar, where he brought some light-hearted entertainment to the set. Joined by producer Ektaa Kapoor and actress Wamiqa Gabbi, the actor interacted warmly with the paparazzi, smiling and posing for photographs.

A fun moment from the shoot went viral on social media: photographers chanted the word “paani” — a popular line associated with Rajpal’s memorable comic character Chhota Pandit from the hit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The Delhi High Court had rejected his plea for more time initially, before granting interim bail on condition of complying with court directives.

Beyond this latest television appearance, Rajpal is also gearing up for upcoming film work. He is part of the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, starring alongside Akshay Kumar, which is scheduled for release in April 2026.
