Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav is back in the limelight after being granted bail in a ₹9 crore cheque bounce/loan case. The actor, who had surrendered to the Delhi Tihar Jail earlier this month, was released on interim bail on February 17, 2026 and has since resumed his professional commitments.

The cheque bounce case, which involved nearly ₹9 crore, had earlier put Rajpal in a difficult spot. He had surrendered himself following a court order after failing to meet earlier commitments related to the loan. The Delhi High Court had rejected his plea for more time initially, before granting interim bail on condition of complying with court directives.
Beyond this latest television appearance, Rajpal is also gearing up for upcoming film work. He is part of the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, starring alongside Akshay Kumar, which is scheduled for release in April 2026.
While his legal battle continues in the background, this cheerful on-set moment signals a hopeful return for the veteran actor — one that blends a nod to his popular past roles with a forward-looking professional stride.
