How to Register for Yes Bank Net Banking?


Step 1: Go to the official website of Yes Bank.


Step 2: On the right side, you will see the tab "Login" when you place your cursor there.


Step 3: You will see the drop-down menu. Click “Yes Online.”


Step 4: On the next page. Click “Register Here.


Step 5: Read the instructions before the registration process.


Step 6: Click the checkbox “I agree to Terms and Conditions" after reading it thoroughly.


Step 7: Click “PROCEED.”


Step 8: From the next page, your registration for net banking starts. If you look at the top centre, you will see a timer, which is set for five minutes only. You need to complete the registration process within the stipulated time.


Step 9: Below the timer, you can see “Registration Via.” Click that dropdown menu.


Step 10: You will see three methods to log in your net banking registration:

  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • Loan Account


Disclaimer: You can choose any of these methods to register for net banking. However, almost all the processes are the same with slight changes. Have your registered mobile number and customer ID with you during the registration process.


Step 11: Choose any of the below-mentioned methods to continue the registration process.

Disclaimer: If you do not know your customer ID, click “Know Your Customer ID.” A small screen pops up. There, enter your registered mobile number, date of birth, or PAN card number. Then click “Proceed.


Click the tab “Next.” A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP. The bank server will retrieve your Customer ID.


Step 12: After completing it, click the tab “NEXT.


Step 13: Create your login ID and password. You need to enter the password two times for confirmation.


The password must be created adhering to their guidelines: one uppercase, one lowercase, one number, and one special character.


Step 14: Click the check box “Register for SMS and Missed Call Banking.


Step 15: Click “Proceed.


Step 16: An OTP will be sent to you. Enter the OTP to validate it.


Step 17: After validating OTP, click “PROCEED.


You have successfully created your net banking username and password.


Step 18: On the homepage, enter your username and password to log into the net banking.


Step 19: When logging in, you need to set the security questions. As a first-time user, you will see this procedure. Click “Set Security Questions.


Step 20: You need to set five security questions and also set answers. This will be used for future purposes, in case you have a problem logging in with Net Banking.


Step 21: After setting questions, click “NEXT.


Step 22: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP to validate it.


Step 23: Click “PROCEED.


Step 24: You have successfully created security questions. The screen shows “Done!”. Take a screenshot of the reference number.


Step 25: Click the tab “DASHBOARD.


Step 26: You will be taken to the dashboard. Here the screen displays your address. Verify it and click “YES.


Step 27: Select the language that you want to have in the net banking. 


The following languages are available in Yes Bank’s Net Banking


English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Urdu.


Step 28: Again, you will be in the net banking dashboard. Navigate to all the options of net banking services.


How to Reset Net Banking Password?

Step 3: You will see the drop-down menu. Click “Yes Online.”

Step 5: Read the message in the dialogue box. Then read the terms and conditions. Click the check box “I agree to Terms and Conditions.

How to Register for Mobile Banking?


Step 1: Download the official Yes Bank Mobile Banking App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The name of the app is Iris by YES BANK—Mobile App.


Step 2: After installation, the app may ask for permission to access your data. Select allow for all the permissions.


Step 3: The app verifies all the data. Select “Proceed.


Step 4: A message pops up, which it asks whether you have any existing relationship with Yes Bank. Select “Yes.


Step 5: You have four options to activate your mobile banking: Debit Card, Credit Card, YES ONLINE (Net Banking), and Loan Account.


Step 6: Choose either of the methods and select “Proceed.


Step 7: Here you need to enter the details related to the method that you have chosen


Example: If you have chosen debit, then enter details of Customer ID, Debit Card Number, and PIN.


Step 8: After entering the details, select “Proceed.

Step 9: You have set your MPin. After confirming it by re-entering, select “Set MPIN.


Step 10: You will have a message “Device registered successfully”. Select “OK.


Step 11: You will be in the login display of your app. Enter your MPIN.


Step 12: A short message shows the terms and conditions. Select the check box “I agree to the Terms and Conditions.


Step 13: Select “Proceed.


Step 14: The app shows guidelines to you. Read it thoroughly for efficient usage of the app.


Step 15: Click “Proceed.


Step 16: A message displays in your app, which asks you whether you want to set a biometric lock. If interested, set it.


Step 17: After completion, you will see a message “Device registered successfully”.


Step 18: Select “OK.

Step 3: You will see the drop-down menu. Click “Yes Online.”


Step 4: You will be taken to the next page.


Step 5: Enter your Login ID and Password.

Step 8: On the next page, you will see a money transfer dashboard. Click the dropdown menu “Other.


Step 9: On the dropdown menu, click “Account Number.


Step 10: A new page will open, where you need to enter the account number and transfer amount (transfer limit ₹ 50,00,000). Remember, you need to re-enter the account number again for confirmation.


Step 11: Click “Yes Bank" if the payee has a Yes Bank account. If not, click “Other Bank" if the payee has another bank account.


Step 12: Select the mode of transfer, namely, IMPS, NEFT, and RTGS.


Step 13: Select the account type, namely the current account and savings account.


Step 14: Enter the IFSC Code.  


Step 15: You may enter any description regarding the money transfer. It is a message. This is optional but not compulsory.


Step 16: Click “NEXT.


Step 17: On the next page, you need to verify all details about the money transfer. If you have any changes, click the tab “EDIT” to make changes.


Step 18: Click “CONFIRM.


Step 19: You will receive the OTP to your registered mobile number. Enter it.


Step 20: Click “PROCEED.


You have successfully transferred the funds. The page shows “Done!”


Tips for Efficient Usage of Net Banking

  • Never share your username and password with anyone.
  • Avoid logging it from unsecured devices.


Example: Ensure that the device you are going to use to log in is safe and secure from cyberattacks.

  • Always ensure that you have added the correct bank account of the beneficiary.

  • Avoid using net banking in public places.

  • Ensure that no one sees your dashboard during the net banking. This may look awkward, but it is about safeguarding your privacy and bank details.

  • Create a username and password that are easy to remember. It is advisable not to have the same username and password for your social media accounts or any other net banking accounts.

  • Track all your financial transactions at least once a month.

  • Check if you have incurred any charges for transactions and other banking services.

  • Always use a secured browser to open your Net Banking account.

  • After completing your net banking, always log out.
